Hi, I’m Diane Verkest

Hi, I’m Diane Verkest

If you were curious enough to navigate here, then I’m happy to share more about me, who I am, how I got here and why I take my purpose and passion seriously to be “all in” for you as your coach!

I am a Certified Professional Coach, completing my studies through the Institute for Professional Excellence, iPEC, a comprehensive training program that is accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a Board Certified Coach (BCC) program through the Center for Credentialing and Education. I am also an Energy Leadership Master Practitioner, and because I am committed to being the best coach I can be, I attained a separate certification as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation.

I am an entrepreneur and a successful reinventor, achieving an important personal milestone of retiring from a long successful human resources career in both private and public sectors, where I held many roles and had progressive responsibility up to C-Suite level leadership.

In addition to my post-secondary education, most importantly I am a student in the schools of lifelong learning and continuous improvement. I bring a unique set of life experiences, both successful and challenging, and educational and experiential background to my coaching. I have coached entrepreneurs, professionals and individuals from higher education, service industry, retail, and other arenas.

I am a person noted for calmness, honesty, and openness. I have been told that I have an encouraging spirit and knack for spotting the gifts and talents in others. I am an innovator and problem-solver, and I embrace opportunities to be creative and push the boundaries. Yet, I too, am human and not perfect, rather perfectly “imperfect”! It is in my “imperfectness” and life struggles that make me passionate to help others build on their strengths, accept their own imperfections and create new ways to navigate their lives.
